New SLITHM Provincial College in Katharagama

Sri Lanka Institute of Tourism & Hotel Management (SLITHM) is Scheduled to Open its 10th Provincial College in Kataragama.

The construction of the school will be fully funded by the Ruhunu Kataragama Maha Devalaya. The Terms of Reference (TOR) for this activity was signed between the Director General of SLITHM, Ms. Jeevanthie Senanayake, and the Basnayake Nilame of the Ruhunu Kataragama Maha Devalaya, Mr. Dishan Gunasekara on 29^th January 2025.

This project is conducted as a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative and will address the imminent need for skilled human resources in hospitality in the budding tourism area associated with Kataragama and Yala.
