Dates and Deadlines

Courses at SLITHM begin annually in January and July. There are a limited number of places available at SLITHM and interested students are advised to make their application as early as possible to ensure selection. SLITHM admissions office considers potential students full profile including academic records, students motivation, work experience (if any), extra-curricular activities and any letters of recommendation.

Application forms can be downloaded from this website or it could be obtained from the SLITHM Colombo Office and Provincial Colleges island-wide or from newspapers. Applicants who have the required qualifications will be called for a written test and an interview. Students will be then enrolled after payment of the admission and course fees.

You can follow the steps below

Step 1: Application Form

Complete the SLITHM Application form hand it over to Colombo or to the Principal at the Provincial Colleges, the Registras Office of the SLITHM Colombo.

(In certain instances, registration forms may have to be sent to SLITHM via Registered Post if mentioned on course advertisements for new intakes.)

Step 2: Interviews

Suitable candidates will then be called for an interview.

Step 3: The Confirmation Letter & Payments

If your application is successful and you are selected, the Institute will send you a confirmation letter indicating the courses that you have been selected for. This letter must be shown to the cashier for payment of fees. You may be allowed to pay the fees in installments, according to your course duration.
